A pop-up store featuring a wide selection of merchandise related to the Chinese ink-wash animation “Nobody”, the first of its kind in East China’s Jiangsu province, was opened at Star Mall, SIP on Jan 20, adding to the appeal of the ACGN (animation, comic, game and novel) culture-themed shopping mall.

“Nobody” follows four underdog monsters—a pig, toad, weasel and ape—who masquerade as characters from Journey to the West in a quest for immortality before finding themselves protecting villagers from malevolent forces. The pig demon’s yearning—“I want to leave Langlang Mountain”—became an unexpected cultural touchpoint for millions of Chinese workers navigating their own professional ambitions and existential questions.

The pop-up store will be available till Mar 5, offering visitors a chance to experience heartwarming scenes from the film and bring home specially designed souvenirs.
Suzhou-themed merchandise highlighting local cultural elements, including limited-edition refrigerator magnets and badges, are offered as gifts or for purchase only at this location. Additionally, over 100 types of official movie merchandise are on display.

Moreover, the four “demons”, costumed characters, will show up at the store on Jan 24 (Saturday) to interact with visitors.
