SIP Xingtang Hospital has enhanced efforts in recent years to integrate traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and modern health management concepts to help people keep fit and stay healthy.
The hospital lately opened the weight management clinic to help people lose weight based on modern medical evaluation and TCM methods for health improvement. The clinic served over 20 people within just two days after its opening.
The hospital also held an event at a square in Lianfeng Community to provide free TCM diagnosis and treatment for local residents. The medics from the hospital also taught the participants to practice Ba Duan Jin, a set of exercises that offer health benefits by coordinating body movements with breathing and a relaxed mind, and gave them healthy tea and massage tools as gifts.
Moreover, as one of 50 service stations for people engaged in new forms of employment in Suzhou, the hospital provides couriers, on-demand food delivery workers and online ride-hailing workers with 28 services for physical and mental health maintenance.
