The Lotus Park and the Egrets Park in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district were recently included in the first List of Urban Parks of Suzhou.
The Lotus Park, surrounded by residential quarters, schools and shopping malls, boasts proximity to subway, beautiful scenery and excellent facilities.
The park is equipped with basketball courts, playgrounds for children, fitness facilities for adults, and a B+R (Bike & Ride) parking lot. It features lotus flowers coupled with other varieties of plants which compose beautiful pictures.
The Egrets Park got its name from the egrets that inhabit in the area. With a total area of about 230,000 square meters, including a green area of about 180,000 square meters, the park boasts well integrated plant landscape and hard landscape.
There is also a large wetland in the park, with lush aquatic plants which not only provide a home for aquatic creatures but also keep air and water clean, and also European-style buildings that create a romantic atmosphere together with the surrounding plants and lake.
