The 2025 Jiangsu Artificial Intelligence Innovation and Development Conference and the First Artificial Intelligence OPC Conference held in SIP on Nov 11 highlighted the concept of “One Person Company (OPC)”, a type of legal corporate entity structure enabling an individual to start and run a business with advanced technologies such as AI, and practical steps and powerful tools.
Already home to a robust AI industry cluster incorporating chips, computing, large models, embodied AI and smart applications, SIP provides a fertile ground for OPCs. The “Model Space” in SIP’s Suzhou AI Industry Park has offered full-cycle support to over 620 businesses, including 21 listed companies.
During the conference, 19 SIP-based organizations joined the Suzhou OPC Service Alliance, offering support to OPCs with their expertise in computing, data, law, finance and other fields.
Students from Peking University, Tsinghua University and other domestic leading universities toured around SIP, experiencing firsthand its dynamic AI ecosystem.
