The newly completed second phase of Suzhou AI Industry Park in SIP’s Suzhou International Science Park (SISPARK) has entered the final check stage recently. The project marks SISPARK’s upgrade from a purely R&D-oriented facility into a complex integrating both R&D and manufacturing.

The project, with a total investment of RMB1.476 billion, comprises offices, R&D facilities and workshops with a total floor area of 260,000 square meters. It provides comprehensive support and services for the combination of AI and manufacturing.

The multi-storey intelligent manufacturing buildings are a major characteristic. The interior of each floor adopts an open-plan design. The ground floor is equipped with ultra-high load-bearing capacity, while every floor supports the installation of heavy-duty equipment. Combined with a scientifically optimized column layout, the spaces can be flexibly adapted and customized to meet diverse needs such as production, R&D and pilot scale test.
Moreover, with independent hoisting platforms, the project addresses challenges related to moving large equipment upstairs and vertical transportation of goods, ensuring smooth and efficient production workflows and laying a solid foundation for enterprises to reduce costs and enhance operation efficiency.
