SIP received the honors of “Digital Smart Park” and “Green and Low-carbon Park” at the conference organized by China Council for International Investment Promotion on Aug 27 for the purpose of facilitating exchanges between development zones for high-quality development.
Since its establishment, SIP has been embracing an “ecology first” development concept and has made consistent efforts to pursue green, low-carbon sustainable development. It is one of China’s first group of eco-industrial demonstration parks and green parks and hosts three “lighthouse factories” and a number of (near) zero carbon emission factories and green factories.
On the other hand, SIP has been exploring innovations in digital technology application, making a series of breakthroughs in cross-border data flow for business and trade facilitation and establishing a one-stop administrative service platform that exempts the submission of over 1,300 documents required for more than 500 administrative procedures.
Moreover, SIP is building the Yangcheng Digital Valley and recently broke ground on an industrial park focused on embodied artificial intelligence.
