SIP announced a series of new policies on Jan 16 in the aim of comprehensively promoting application of AI technology in manufacturing.
Under the 2026 action plan for accelerating integration of AI and manufacturing, SIP aims to fulfill 26 major tasks through six actions to improve production efficiency in the manufacturing sector by virtue of AI technology and promote the development of a number of exemplary application scenarios and solutions.
Under the plan of accelerating development of AI application scenarios in the manufacturing sector and expanding AI application in new scenarios, SIP will take a series of measures to match AI solution supply and demand for high-end, intelligent, green and service-oriented manufacturing.
The first product catalog of SIP’s “623” industrial system (six major industrial clusters and 23 key industry chains) was released, too. With information about businesses within the system and their technologies and products, it is designed to facilitate supply-demand matching and promote upstream and downstream collaboration within related industry chains.
