Recently, a late-night emergency call crossed the oceans—a key executive at Baker Hughes was facing issues with his visa to China. Time was tight, since the company’s global management meeting, the first ever held outside Europe or the United States, was soon to open in SIP.
This meeting, attended by more than 20 top leaders and regional general managers of the company, was of great significance for both Baker Hughes and its subsidiary Dresser (Suzhou) Machinery Co Ltd in SIP. It was vital to Baker Hughes’ international operations.
Upon learning of the issue, SIP immediately launched a cross-department support effort, providing end-to-end assistance from document preparation and application to coordination with overseas embassies. Every step was handled seamlessly, ensuring the executive received his invitation and arrived as scheduled.
“SIP’s response speed and heartwarming services have greatly strengthened our confidence to deepen our roots here,” the company said when presenting a thank-you banner to SIP authorities after the meeting.
