Several smart service kiosks have been put into use at SIP Citizen Service Center recently, offering one-stop processing for publishing-related administrative procedures.

Previously, businesses applying online for publication retail permit had to scan paper documents and upload corresponding electronic versions, and after online approval, they still needed to visit service counters to collect physical licenses. The new system, with simplified procedures, helps avoid waiting time and enables full-process self-service.
To apply for the publication retail permit, an applicant can fill in information and submit application directly at the kiosk, which incorporates a built-in scanner for quick document uploading.
Once approved—whether for new applications, renewals, or replacements—users can retrieve their new license by verifying their identity via ID card and facial recognition, submitting the old license into the designated “cabinet” and printing the new or updated version on the spot.
