The 3rd Weiting Sub-district FTU Cultural and Sports Month, organized by the Federation of Trade Unions of SIP’s Weiting Sub-district, took place from Oct 25 to Nov 9. Employees from around the sub-district partook in a series of activities designed to promote both wellness and teamwork.
The event kicked off with a vibrant walking event along Qingjian Lake, where over 300 employees enjoyed a refreshing 4.5-kilometer lakeside stroll as well as interesting experiences in the creative bazaar which incorporated intangible cultural heritage elements and games.
The parent-child fun sports meet on Nov 2 turned the SIP Northern Citizen Center into a playground filled with laughter and cheers.
The fishing contest on the last day attracted more than 60 anglers for a relaxing day by the water.
The activities not only boosted the cohesion of grassroots trade unions, but also demonstrated local employees’ positive attitude toward life.
