The State Council of China recently issued the Opinions on Deeply Implementing the “Artificial Intelligence Plus” Action, aiming to promote wide, deep integration of AI technology in different economic and social scenarios.
Through many years’ development, SIP has laid a solid industrial foundation and created a complete innovation ecosystem for AI development. By the end of 2024, the park had gathered more than 1,800 enterprises engaged in AI and digital industries, with their total output value exceeding RMB110 billion.
The SIP AI Industry Park provides excellent conditions for the development of large AI models, embodied AI, industrial software and integrated circuit design, and eight AI-focused industrial clusters are being built.
Concurrently, SIP has strengthened efforts to attract projects and talents, with the aim of forming a globally influential and competitive AI innovation hub.
In recent years, SIP has been striving hard to promote application of AI technology in manufacturing, scientific research, administrative services, financial services, education, cultural tourism and other fields. It encourages industrial enterprises to adopt intelligent solutions to improve their operation efficiency, and organizes various events such as roadshows and matching activities to facilitate cooperation between AI technology developers and demanders.
Moreover, SIP has issued an action plan, aiming to accelerate innovative development and application of “AI Plus” solutions over the following three years.
