With the approach of the Chinese Teachers’ Day, which is observed annually on Sept 10, SIP’s shopping malls, 4s stores and tourist sites are offering special gifts to teachers, expressing thanks for their contributions to education development.
Suzhou Stage Outlets, Suzhou Village and Rainbow (Jinji Lake) are offering cash coupons to teachers, and many brands such as Timberland and Adidas in these malls are providing favorable discounts to them.
A number of 4s (standing for sales, service, spare parts and surveys) stores, which are one-stop car dealerships, offer not only discounts but also gifts to teachers who buy cars around the Teachers’ Day.
Suzhou Yangcheng Peninsula Theme Park provides teachers with free admission from Sept 2 to 14. Each teacher may visit with two friends who will enjoy half-price tickets. Additionally, fireworks shows will be staged in the park on Sept 6, 7, 13 and 14.
