SIP Market Supervision Bureau (SIPMSB) offered training to 384 special equipment safety managers from biotech companies and pathogenic microorganism labs recently, in an effort to help these companies and labs ensure safe use of special equipment.
The event integrated online and onsite training to achieve the widest coverage and provide convenience for the trainees.
During the event, an expert detailed the working principles of commonly used equipment such as high-pressure sterilizers, reaction kettles and steam boilers, and offered the trainees tips on daily maintenance of such equipment and risk control, as well as emergency response procedures for equipment abnormalities.
The expert also explained in detail laws and regulations on safety of special equipment, and shared typical cases of special equipment-related accidents in domestic biomedical sector in recent years, providing an in-depth analysis of the causes of the accidents and shortcomings in response.
