The 2024 Jinji Lake Dragon Boat Race is set to take place on Jinji Lake in SIP on June 10. The dragon boat team of SIP Jinji Lake School will partake in the race for the first time.
SIP Jinji Lake School, founded in September 2010, has over 7,000 students and teachers. The school has been endeavoring to help its students achieve all-around development.
The dragon boat team was formed in April. It has 25 members who were selected for their excellent performance in the preliminary training. The school hopes the participation in the event can help the students enhance stamina and deepen their understanding of teamwork.
The students are excited about the upcoming competition. They even trained themselves on weekends and during the May Day holiday with the hope of winning a prize.
