It is a great experience to walk on the Jinji Lake Fitness Trail and watch the rain drops falling and rolling on the water lily leaves. The flowers, pink or white, float on the surface of the lake, rendered quiet by exultant ripples forming one after another near them. It is reminiscent of the “Water Lilies” drawn by Claude Monet.
Different from the water lilies, the lotus flowers stand tall above the water, looking elegant. The flowers and the skyscraper Oriental Arc in the distance form a unique scene, attracting many people to photo with them.
The lotus leaves are clean and emerald green, giving out refreshing fragrance. As the rain pats the leaves, it sounds like a beautiful song. Sometimes, there are birds playing on the leaves, making the picture more captivating.
